Committee Chair

Hello Fellow New Englanders –

It is hard to believe that the New England Payroll Conference is about 12 weeks away.  This year, Payrollopoly is going to be a conference packed full of education, trivia, and games. The Conference Committee hopes you enjoy the Payrollopoly Game that is going on each week.

Be sure and read the section on the Payrollopoly Game below, you could be the lucky winner of $200.

It is exciting to announce that Dorothy Quinn was the winner of the Room Upgrade for our "Register by February 15 campaign".

We are excited to be back in Bristol, CT where we have been very successful with our conference attendance being one of our best in many years. There are many area attractions for you to see while you are in Bristol, click here to see what is around the area.

Following the Exhibitor Social on Thursday, we are hosting a Game Night.  Plan now to stay and play, it will be fun!  More information will be coming out soon about this event.

We hope to see you in June.

The Payrollopoly Game

By now you have all seen some of the game questions.  We hope you are having fun with them. if you do not know an answer, play anyway. The goal is to have FUN!

Game questions started on March 4th and will continue up until just before the conference.  Each question will have one week to respond.

Questions will arrive regularly, but no more than two times per week.  For every question you answer, you will receive a chance to pass go and collect $200. Some weeks you may receive a “BONUS QUESTION” in your email. These bonus questions allow you to get an extra “Chance” at the $200.

There is one catch, you have to be at the conference to receive your tickets for the chances to pass go and collect $200, and we mean someone at the conference will actually win $200.

If you are still deciding if you are coming or not, there is no harm in playing. The fun is open to everyone!

(New England Payroll Conference Committee Members are not eligible to win)

Giving Back

Each year, the New England Payroll Conference chooses a local charity to support. The NEPC has raised $2,895 in the last three years. For 2019, we are focusing our fundraising efforts on Prudence Crandall Center in New Britain, CT.

For over 43 years, Prudence Crandall Center has been a leader in our state’s efforts to reduce the devastating impact of domestic violence in the lives of victims, their children, and our community. Today PCC is one of only a few programs in the country offering the full spectrum of shelter, housing and support services needed to offer practical, long-term solutions to the challenges faced by victims, helping them heal and move forward to safe, self-sufficient lives, free of violence. We also provide professional trainings, prevention programs for youth, and outreach to raise awareness, reach victims in need, and prevent violence in the future. Through all of our programs and services, we touch the lives of 8,000 adults and children each year throughout our region and state.
